Commitment is Singular in Nature

So it's crucial we choose wisely.

"I need you to know that I am a coach first and a friend second. That means if I need to choose between the two, I will choose to serve you over being your friend every time."

Those were the words I said to a person I had lunch with as I looked her right in the eyes. 

She paused for a moment. Then, with a smile, she responded, "I like that. I know exactly where you're coming from. No B.S."

We hugged and left the restaurant towards our cars. 

Ok, now allow me to share a 'behind-the-scenes' peek at things. 

That was EDGY. I knew I needed to say it about 30 minutes into our conversation. However, it came out at minute 92 (or so). 

It came out. That's the point. That's the work.

We create a life and a legacy, ONE brave thought and action at a time.

You can only ever be committed to ONE thing at any given moment.
